After deciding i wanted a 150 cc scooter to ride a few miles to work. I started reading everything I could on line. There are to many different scooters that seem to be the same. How do you decide. The only things that I want is the 150cc Moter and maybe larger than 10" tires. If anyone can help clear some of the confusion up for me it would be grately appreciated. Thanks Terry

Most Chinese scoots are on about the same level of quality. You've selected an engine type and you know you want wheels 12" or larger. Beyond that, decide on : - What body style do you like or what best suits your size or other requirements?
- Does one scooter include benefits another doesn't? (Free trunk would be an example... rear disc brakes on one vs drum on another... stuff like that.)
- Does a seller you trust carry something you're interested in? It might be worth paying more from a local dealer, especially if they have a good warranty and good mechanics. If buying online, do you wanna risk it with the cheapest price you can find or would you be willing to pay a bit more if a seller has a great rep?
It's a lot of decisions that only you can make. We can try to help if you have specific questions, but only you know exactly what suits you. For example on the last question above... as long as a seller didn't have a bad reputation, I'd be willing to try to get the best price possible because I can probably do whatever might need to be done on assembly and repair and if something minor was wrong I might just modify it anyway. Lots of folks would prefer to buy somewhere they could take it back to later for repairs and maintenance. I'd be willing to pay a little more if I could get a scoot in black somewhere from a similar seller, some folks would take any color as long as the scoot is cheap. Lots of personal preference is involved in buying. If you narrow it down, post up what you're looking at and maybe someone will have more info on a seller or model or something to help you farther.

I'd never put that money into a scooter. Too many motorcycles out there for the money. Couple grand, sure...... $4500..... no way
