Well done ken, everyone hunker down head for the hills etc,it is not mild it,s not picky and it,s deadly our government,s will struggle with this.in my area of the UK we have 31 confirmed cases out of a population of 500,000 it seems tiny it I am still sh'''t scared.I am not going in to work tommorow the general public can manage without rattan furniture and trampolines. One of our politicians applauded himself this morning on TV for organising a 42 pallet drop of PPE,I could have done that and more today, history teaches us not to wait, act save your self then you can help others.

Geoff In my opinion, that is 100% the attitude to have regarding this. If an area is not affected badly by this, it doesn’t mean that area is immune or that they should take it easy, it means it has just not had a chance to spread yet. It can and will spread, given the chance. So before everyone is forced to barricade themselves indoors because the death toll is climbing, volunteer to spend some time isolating and save the lives. Either way you’re going to end up doing the same thing.

Good for you Ken Thank you for your words and service. We are in Bangkok and just North. Thailand closed down early. Many tourists from China. Their flights were cancelled and ships turned away, but a few got through from border crossings.
Isolation is the key. We cannot leave our homes except for a walk and to buy food. Nothing else is open. To enter any market, whether open air or indoor, you must wear a mask. Many have HEPA filters...not sure if that matters, but I have rolls for use in in weld masks...so I do.
Can't buy lumber, can't buy bling...can't buy nearly anything...except online.
Even hospital elevators are limited and have arrows showing to face a wall or corner. The reason, I believe, that Thailand has just 1,000 cases and 4 deaths? Our treatments are all done at designated hospital facilities. My hospital is in the top ten in world for coronary, cancer and trauma. If you pre-screen with Covid, (Outside) you are taken away, immediately, to a Covid care center. You MUST show passport if not Thai or Thai National ID card...they can look up travel dates and places. My partner is locked at home, by herself, because she was in France in February. She will be cleared soon, but matters little. Her business is QC at Essilor lens. Not the factory, the world. She is their Global Manager, so she will be working from home anyway.
BTW...the 4 deaths, one Thai taxi driver, two China nationals and one Chinese/Singaporean, who was in Hubei. The biggest cross contamination was a Thai boxing event, Muaythai and other...over 350 from one event infected. That was January. Bangkok cannot screw up. Near 9 million of the 63 million in country are in Bangkok. (14%)

Japan is not in lockdown, ...at all. Everything is like it always was. Exception are large events like sports, concerts an stuff have been cancelled.
I'm sick since Thursday evening. Started with headache, running or clogged nose and fatigue. No high fever though, highest was 37.0 celsius. Since Sunday my nose got better headache is gone no fatigue. But cough has started to set in. So i'm coughing the shit out of my lungs and throat at the moment. Thus getting headache when coughing, throat pain and stomach muscle pain from continuously strong coughing.
Went to the hospital today and was told that if i don't have 37.5 or higher fever for at least 4 days they won't consider my situation as important to make a PCR check. FYI, PCR is the test to find out if you're infected or not. So i was given some meds and send home. Doc said though that in this time he can't exclude the possibility that i "might" be infected nor 100% deny it.
My company is giving me off since Friday last week and another co-worker just called in sick today. My wife has confined my ass to my gaming room and my own toilet upstairs. I am not worried at this point because i believe it is a simple cold. However that uncertainty is what's bugging me, not knowing 100%.
At this point only time will tell what's going on.
Stay safe and healthy out there.

Kenho21 and all..I fully enjoy this talk. It is what we should aspire to everyday, regardless of pendemic or other. Pull for each other.
WE should PUSH for a 49cc Scoot booth at NEMA or something. I would spend hours, days...and do demo's and talk shit. My biggest racing hero is actually a road racer, drag racer, and show car guy named Bill Mullins. He has awards...There are so many others...
I would be a happy guy to help out and show what we all can do! It would be popular! My son is in SoCal, many friends in Vegas...we should do it! Imagine the parking lot demo's??

Stay safe Tsimi . Get Healthy Soon . Sorry Tsimi! I accidentally LOL'd...not my intent. My love and partner is locked down at her home, with our dogs for comfort. She is a Global QA Manager for a huge company...but was in France and Spain during the shit hitting the fan. She does not appear to have the COVIS...but extra control. Thailand does not fark around. 1300 cases, only 4 deaths and all came from one boxing event. I have not mentioned it, because...well not needed. But she gets food delivered, dogs groomed and whatever....but WE cannot have contact...now weeks. WE have other families that need care as well. This is bigger than us. So must remain calm and safe and bored shitless. I am in our temp rental with my Honda projects. NO puppy love. Cannot even buy parts...cannot do shit. I speak with birds, make new friends of huge lizards, and go to the market. I had a cat for two weeks, but she pissed in my only office chair...twice. She is not dead, but she is gone.

tsimi How you feeling? Have they started to tighten things up as far as public access out there yet? Not sure exactly why, but many Asian countries, aside from China, Seem to be faring much better. The more common mask culture may be part of it... ThaiGyro I agree. A get together or of some type would be really cool. I feel like that could get pricey though. Maybe Brent can donate some of the millions he's raking in from 49ccscoot and the YT channel.
