Finally got the starter clutch assembly aftr waiting for almost 2 months. The result? Still the same it just spins without engaging it’s really puzzling me now what is causing it🤔 could it be the motor? But the motor spins its though.

Did you check the new starter clutch before you fitted it? To make sure it's functioning corectly.

My god i checked how the starter motor works and it spins the starter clutch counter clockwise the reason why it is not engaging. New starter motor do you think? Or is there some issues with polarity. I did try to clean the starter motor twice

I mean the motor spins the wheel gear counter clockwise

Hey guys, afyer weeks got my new starter motor and starter clutch. And still the same still couldn’t crank it but the motor spins correctly now. However it struggles like it can’t handle to spin and crank it to start? I’m currently charging my battery now to rule it out but could it also be my compression is to high and hard for the motor to crank?thanks

Just when i thought it was already working, this morning when i started it, it is cranking but sounded like it was laboured cranking like battery is getting drained. Am I missing something? Could ot be possible ground issues? It started nice yesterday when i fully charged the battery.

Have you got a multimeter? It could just be the battery not holding a charge.

Check standing voltage not while running. Should be 12v roughly. While charging ideally a 12v battery charges at 13.8-14.3 volts. I come from auto-world though so I’m not sure about these miniature electrical systems. Should be roughly the same though.

If you fully charge it. But it reads under 12.6V, it should be replaced. If it's fully charged but when you start it it drops to under 9.5v. It needs replacing.
