I've been meaning to join for some time now. Now that I am quarantined like the rest of the country, I see no better time than now to take care of small tasks like this.
EDIT: I would like to add to this post as I see it is an interactive introduction unlike some other forums I have joined.
Again, greetings from the cool Kansas City, KCMO, not KCK.. I am an experienced auto tech with a specialty in electronics and the more hi-tech aspect of the industry. I'm not just a mechanic. However, I am new to the scooting scene and I have acquired a few 49cc scooters over the past year. I am modding and improving one of these chinesium scooters now and I am glad that forums like this one exist. I discovered this forum from the 49ccScoot YouTube channel. I am a member of many other forums of the technical and automotive industries and I hope to add to this forum in many ways. If you are in my area and wish to connect, send me a message. I'm willing to wheel & deal locally and I will trade my services for parts and such, not just cash.
Let's get started.. Where should I post something like... "Did you know that there is only one correct way to install a circlip or snap ring?" This forum is a bit different than the others I know such as MHHAuto.com (My favorite).

Welcome! Handy Hints (as suggested above) is a good spot for the thread that you mentioned. I tried to make it fairly simple to find a spot to post, but if you end up posting somewhere that seems way off... no biggie. I can move threads/posts.

The snap-ring thread is now in the Handy Tips section. I am a very busy cat, but I do intend on posting some very useful things to this forum. I am open for requests from anyone here. I specialize with electrical systems and modifications of various sorts. I am new to scooters and looking for the smartest and coolest information out there.
Post your requests on this thread and I will surely reply. Thank you forum members for adopting this cat during our times of quarantine. I assure you I am virus free and I just got my monthly dose of flea and tick control.
