Hey folks. Was wanting to know everyones honest opinion of PFS's universal parts 47mm bank for the horizontal...
Is the kit worth the 90$? I mean I know its not gonna be a screamer or anything, but does it pull good? Is it a decent fit and finish? Any and all opinions are welcome, and deeply appreciated. I dont get to buy new scoot paets very often, and when I do I cannot afford to balls out and get Malossi or Polini. If I could afford Polini I would for sure have one. Anyway, thanks for reading this far, and stay healthy

Anyway, thanks for reading this far, and stay healthy It's an OK kit at best. We bring them in for our dealer network primarily, as some of our dealers have great 2t techs that can make them sing and dance for cheap. It's not something that I would promote into the forum as a super high quality part or anything to be completely honest, and I would recommend pinching pennies for a HOCA/SSP-G or Naraku for a simple street kit, or Polini (really Athena - that kit is CRISP and my favorite) at the top end. Generally, Chinese 2t cylinders are nothing to write home about from a finish standpoint out of the box. The GY6/QMB product is far superior out of China. If I were you and working on a new to you horizontal and you've got 90 bucks to spend on it, I'd do the variator and weights and save for a better quality kit. However, when you're ready to buy, let me know. Matt

Need a cylinder tho.. PO smoked the bore. Seized it and rings pretty much ate the damn thing. Have 0 choice in replacing the bore, and if rather roll it off a cliff than go stock bore.
Thanks tho. I'll look elsewhere. Appreciate the honesty.

Awesome that someone is honest instead of lying to make a buck. I gotta make an order from PFS. Props to you Matt.

I have been looking at a naraku 70 kit for some time and thought these numbers an ideal set up.so I will just ask is the 50cc head listed above the best choice.
NK100.31 barrel kit NK102.83. 70cc head NK100.96. Gasket kit
But part numbers change, different markets etc,and I can not find a Naraku site.

Geoff If you don't mind running high test fuel and kicking your bike to start if your battery or starter is weak, the Naraku kit works well with a stock 50cc minarelli head. The stock head raises compression over the 70cc head just a smidge, but in our experience the return is worth it on an otherwise stock setup as the kit itself is pretty mild overall. If you're going to port, go crazy with the exhaust or otherwise mod the engine in addition to the kit, the 70cc head is a better idea. Naraku doesn't have their own website because they are a wholly owned sub brand of Racing Planet in Germany, much the same that SSP-G is a wholly owned sub brand of our own. Matt

Sweet. The head is fine, and I have another stock head around that I cut the squish on. I'll wait, prolly grab one of these asap, thank you. I can adjust the modified head to suit this kit. ..

I put 2 of the Naraku cylinders on 2 different Genuine Buddy's. I really like that kit for the price!! Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about it. Was gonna be my next go-to if my cylinder fried after this last mishap. The ports are actually huge - be sure to cut the gasket bigger to allow all the flow!

Thanx for the tip Dex.
Just ordered that kit, a bearing and seal kit, jet kit, and flywheel puller.
I gotta say, PFS is by far the friendliest place I have ever ordered from. The chat is always prompt on point and knowledgeable.
Now the hard part. Waiting.. .
