So I got a vinyl cutting machine. It's pretty awesome! It doesn't print so I can really only do one color at a time. But if anybody is interested I will make you any sticker you want. I'll pretty much do it for cost of material and shipping. So I don't really think it will be more than 5$ I can cut 30"x50" and that's the max maybe longer but I heard that going to long is no good. I've already done a bunch and they turn out really good. If interested pm me and I'll give you my email send me what you want and the dimensions you want it in, and what color. I dont have many colors yet so I will have to order the color you want and then cut it out so might take a week or so.

Interesting, in that I've had a couple vinyl ideas in the last year or so. First one came to no avail... dragon vinylI also still want to do a "loud" full-size rising sun on my S2000 vented carbon fiber hood. Application is sure to be a pain/learning experience, but I still want to do this. Both are two-color plots, and the hood is bigger than 30x50". I got a couple local leads to get the hood done. If anything comes to mind I will consider your offer!

Sometimes running a printed sheet back thru with a second color can work out really well. The alignment process is called registration. I've seen it done well enough that it looks perfect. I do know it takes Patience and practice. Alignment marks in the margins probly [sp] help, but play with it on large scraps and see what happens.

Obviously I don't know the process, but if you can print, why would you have to run it through for more than one color in the first place?

I can't print.that machine is like minimum 5 grand! Lucky to find one used for under 2! I just got this to keep me busy. And to maybe make a little bit of money! Or at least cover the cost of the machine!

I helped a friend several years ago for a while in his sign shop. Did all kinds of stuff from name tags on up to doing semi trailers for "PW" (Proven Winners); a big outfit that provides flowers to plant and such to big box retailers and places like Lowes home improvement and Home Depot Hardware stores. (here in Michigan anyway) So I know (knew... it's been a while) what goes into plotting a cut in vinyl. (and gold leaf and industrial grade safety reflective material for fire trucks and such and sand blast masking for sand blasted wood signs)
So yeah, I may have you do a few small things that I have planned for my streamline scooter project. When I get it all sorted out and make final decisions... probably not until the end of this summer though. It still needs some more building and painting. Single color mostly with only a few with multiple layers of color. (but no more than 3... Experience was that 3 layers was about the max for best results to avoid registration errors and/or eventual peeling IIRC.)
