Hello, what's up everybody. I'm Dan. I have a new tao tao 50 thunder on the way in a crate. Should arrive next week. I ordered NGK CR7HSA spark-plug, extra CDI, MMG Gates Powerlink belt and some cable with locks online. (always good idea to have extra belt and CDI in case)

When the scooter arrives, I will be getting new engine and gear oil, 3ft of fuel line, 3ft of vacuum lines, blue loc-tite and electrical connector grease from a local store. Am I missing anything?

This is my first, brand new scooter to own. I decide to take a challenge with a "Cheap Chinese" scooter. I am good with mechanical/fabrication jobs. While I am waiting for my Thunder 50 to arrive, I've been looking for a used 2 stroke scooter on craigslist and facebook marketplace. I'm thinking about a Roughhouse or a Yamaha.
