Wel...it does have an 80cc BB kit. I guess that's either worth something or the actual cause of it not running. Either way, see if he bites...

to me a non runner is worth maybe 100 bucks unless it has lots of good parts
you never know why its a non runner
and for some reason people think what they paid for something makes it worth more
just becuase you spent 300 bucks on a tune up doesnt add value

i have my original 47mm P&C ready to put on it, then back on cl it would go for a profit....assuming there is no bottom end trouble.

I would take a chance at 150.00. But $300 ? no way. Unless it was an aprillia or genuine yamaha.Most scooter owners arent dumb. He prolly bought it thinking he wood fix it and resell for a profit just like your thinking about doing and realized it needs a lot of work. Saw how much they were brand new and based his price off that.

Speedy, I love your avatar !! I gotta ask tho- The figure thats doing the whoop-ass is signified as being white in color, while the poor unfortunate receiver of this rage is black in color. Is this an indication that he is, in fact, dead? I mean, with that kind of beating I would think life expired after the second, or maybe third stabbing. Nevermind the repeated thrashing, king kong sized mallet, the arrows, the bullets, the ray gun, the rpg,....lol

yeah i think you are right, he doesnt seem to be moving much. as far as the scooter goes. he claims to have an offer of $250 and will sell it for that over the weekend if he doesnt get a higher one. $250 is way too much for a chinese 'sunny' style broken scooter.
I find his claim of $250 offer kinda hard to believe. Its been on CL all summer, it will disappear for a week or so then be back lol.

the posting was renewed yesterday. nobody is going to pay 300 for a broken down scoot. its a boat anchor to anyone except scooter mechanics like us. i think his claim of a 250 offer was an attempt to get me to offer more. besides, if that offer was true why would he ask if i was still interested when my offer is 150? i will get it eventually. I want to change out those lower black body panels with my silver ones, fix it and sell it or might even put my motor in it and keep it, i like the all black color scheme.

Here, in cloud coco land, a clean title, on a 50cc "whatever" is worth $200-$300. I like to get them for $100, (and get larger non runners for $100), but the "legit" 50cc ones go for more.

Well they still have it. The claim now is they have a 200$ offer. Im going to go offer them 125$ cash sunday. all i really want is the engine to build a stroker 52x44 engine, i plan to part the rest out.

Apparently it sold for $800. the new owner 'overloaded it' with 2 170lbs teens right after buying it and 'broke' it. these folks gave the buyer their money back.
