I know there are a few ppl who've worked on Etons so I thought I'd ask you first rather than diving in and wasting a lot of time and further stripping the already half-stripped fittings on my bike . . .
I NEED to richen my mixture / adjust idle for fall weather. Can I reach both screws by pulling the tub inder the seat and reaching in, or do I need to pull more body parts ? I checked GT90Verts most excellent BB install, but still can't tell. :dunno:
Thanks in advance !

Last time I worked on one was when I did that how-to. I adjusted everything and re-jetted with the seat bucket out and the one panel off shown in the article. Not sure if you need to remove the side panel, but if so it takes all of 2 minutes to remove and install.

OK, I just got my bidnes handled, an OMG !!! THIS BIKE IS A ROCKETSHIP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tee hee hee . . . . Really though, I'll post this and hope it shows up in a search in case someone else asks about this stuff.
I pulled the seat tub and everything was perfectly accessible. Using the PDF's Speedy posted as a guide as to where to locate stuff before it got dark, I also pulled the slide and raised the needle all the way up. What I wasnt expecting was the dreaded EPA plug over the idle mixture screw. A little cave man style brutalizing of it using the same skinny screw driver I used to turn it worked fine, came right out. I took the front cover off of the oil tank and went in through that access point with a long flatblade. Took it for a spin, everything worked fine, I think I even felt a little more off-idle. Could be wishful thinking, though. The idle is perfect now, but when it gets below 50, that will be the test. Im sure I'll have to turn it up a little. About 20 minutes to get all this handled, about 15 to get the seat to latch again, ha ha ! :thumb:
Thanks again guys, as always, much appreciated.
