Sensible man. You probably would be hard pushed to tell the difference in power between the 125 and 150 version. These are scooters that only make 10hp stock. So another 25cc is not bringing many stallions to the table.

I have the 150cc and It's plenty of power. I'm sure the 125 isn't that much slower. Besides you have those narrow winding roads, how often do you do 60mph?

Well after a bit of fettling on Rosebud and not much chance at moment to do stuff I bought a pair of Anlas winter tyre's for I think £56. Thinking they were old stock I checked the manufacturer date which was April 2020. So use to tyre's on eBay being a few yrs out of date plus got 10% of voucher so a pair of Michelin winter city grips for Violet will only work out to about £57 on payday. Next job is to remove front rack and paint the front panel, already have the two pack black paint ready when back from Yorkshire.

Front shock absorber arrived today so started taking it apart couldn't get plastic side cover off to make life easier so do it the hard way. Off with caliper, struggle with damn split pin or cotter pin as some of you the other side of the pond call it. Down to last nut socket no way wanna go on. Throw tantrum go home to bed and sulk. Tomorrow is another day.

Well shock absorber done, had a eureka moment at 1.30 in the morning and decided on using 1/4" drive socket much thinner side walls and it fitted and worked.
