The temp gauge linked above is the one you would recommend?

Well working on temp gauge... 45mph is no problem now .. scooter is a lot more fun now. It does seem like more than 45 I will need to change some gears... Stock this thing is screaming... If going to gears what would be recommended?
Thank You.

www.scootertuning.ca/en/101-gearsI used Athena 14/42 but any of these gears would add 5 mph or more You will have to reset the weights a notch lower when you get gears so you get the same shift points and the you keep spunky takeoff

Sorry... Holiday season and now some cooler weather... Haven't really had the funds or time to do really any mods... I will continue probably after the holidays and fix some stuff that needs attention...
Need a new rear tire... Had the Michelin bopper but that's getting expensive now .. guess I will look for a cheaper replacement.
Thank You... Have a AWESOME Holiday Season!!!

I will be going from the stock carb to I will assume something like a delorto (spelling is prob wrong)... Like 17.5m. I see they are a manual choke... Looks like they sell cables for the choke at 20 or 60 inches... I will assume 60 is for mounting on handle bars somewhere... What about the 20?
Only reason I asked about gearing before is the engine is screaming at top speed now... Figure can change gears a bit and slow the screaming down.

Dellorto do both manual choke and electric for the 17.5mm carbs. The PHBN 17.5LS is the manual choke version. Or the Dellorto 17.5TS is auto choke.

I prefer the manual choke I mounted the long cable so the choke was next to the key if you use the small cable you can mount it to one of the cvt case bolts
