Now the other scooter I've been working on is a 2019 TaoTao 49cc and it's been rode hard also but it's definitely nicer than this white one and like you posted a few minutes ago that newer 2019 model I can hit 40 miles per hour max if I'm lucky on the right Road With the Wind to my back.

What would you say Zino , a 2T isn't really double the power of a similar cc 4T but it is twice the fun. I would say a stock 2T is probably 1.5 times the HP of a similar cc stock 4T? Would that be anywhere close? With a few mods a 2T might even be 1.7x? That scoot looks to be a complete wreck. After a second wreck it is probably suitable only for a few spare parts. Time to write it off.
Sorry, 1.663554854 times the power... it's a generalization to illustrate a point.

Yeah I feel the same way about the scooter that's what I've been telling him. I'm doing some other work for him I'm going to just tell him to give me the scooter and I'm going to keep it for parts. Unless he insist on continuing to throw money at me. So you figure a two stroke you lose gas mileage by 1/3 but you make it up within 150% more power. And you can continue to build it up from there. Yes, a two stroke will give you a much greater gains to investment ratio as far as speed and acceleration. They are much more peppy and fun imo. Also, if you're inclined, you can play with port timings and case modifying and all sorts of stuff as well. All that being said, there's definitely value in the more worry-free long rides with a 4 stroke.

Well here's an update on resurrecting the dead Tao Tao. My neighbor apparently has more money than he knows what to do with so I'm completely rebuilding the 50cc from the ground up lol. its a win for me because he keeps paying me whatever i want and I'm getting some good experience from it.

Since I can't get the handlebars straight and because the steering tube bearings are blown out I'm ordering a new triple tree for it too.

It must be nice to have money... Just make sure he makes those progress payments.
Once you get them stripped down they really are simple machines.

I am totally hooked on these little scoots for sure. And they really are simple like you said. A lot of people get freaked out trying to understand the electrical especially the stator operation but that too is simple once you get a good understanding of electrical theory. I'm still second guessing myself on whether I should replace the triple tree on this scooter because the handlebars are offset to the right when the front wheel is straight. I think I'm going to start with a set of new shocks up front and see how that lines up to front wheel and handlebars and go from there.

Wire clothes hangers, the second force in the galaxy after duct tape.
I paint the same way. The overspray can be bad.
The stator electrics aren't bad when you realize the 'regulator' on a lot of scoots is a shunt regulator and not a rectifier/regulator. It shunts the negative waveform to ground and excess positive voltage to ground leaving a horrible mash of a DC waveform that drives digital meters crazy. It also gets real hot in operation and fails quickly. If you want some decent readings try an old fashioned analog meter. The higher $$$ and bigger scoots have a good three phase rectifier/regulator.
Note: All of the HVAC vendors around have been real busy. My windows don't fit a window unit so I am building a false sill. It is real slow work because I am a shitty woodworker.

Ahh yes. Woodworking/carpentry is the bane of my existence. I cannot cut a straight line in wood to save my life. Even if I measure 5 times before I cut I always fall short. I'm more of a service tech repair guy myself those are my strong suits especially Diagnostics. My skills are excellent with automotive repair, residential electrical, Automotive Electrical Residential Plumbing, and HVAC. I dread it anytime I have to build something that involves wood and nails or wood screws LOL. I will admit though, if I have to build something like that out of wood it will be absolutely functional and sturdy but I promise you it will not be pretty.
