I have a qmb motor and having issue with accelerating after unit has been running for about 10 miles .(hot) Recently replaced stator because rivers on flywheel loosened
Does anyone have an idea ?

Engine backfires and will run if accelerated to slow idle. If you rev motor it causes backfire.

Maybe check your ignition pickup coil to see if it is loose, damaged, or properly spaced with the flywheel.

Remember, if you worked on it we charge twice as much for advice...
