Hi, It does go up to 65-70km/h then back down like it looses gas. I've checked the connections and everything seems alright. Does anyone know what the issue might be? I've attached a video link of the problem. Its a Yamaha Jog RR with a Yamaha Aerox engine. streamable.com/7c2cry

It could be a fuel flow issue at the upper throttle range.
In my experience, i ran transparent fuel lines. When i used a paper fuel filter, i experienced similar symptoms. When i pulled over to check it out, i notice a large air bubble in the filter (transparent housing). I bought a different cheap fuel filter from O'Reilly 2-stroke section. That filter ran well for a while until it started to leak and bleed air into the fuel line. When i switched over to the sintered brass element fuel filter the problem went away.
In another instance, i experienced the symptoms you speak of due to a faulty vacuum operated fuel petcock (valve). At first i was under the impression that i need more vacuum so i switched to larger vacuum line to operate the petcock. Ran decent for a while until i noticed fuel in my vacuum line. That led me to think that the stock petcock was faulty so i switched to a brass manual fuel valve after that the problem went away.
Im not saying that my experiences will solve the issue, i just offer it as possible things to inspect or look into. I find that transparent fuel filters and transparent fuel/vacuum lines are helpful when you have to trouble shoot fuelling issues.

I used to have issues with the vacuum and fuel lines popping out, the vacuum line was a little longer and wider so I switched them, but didn't have any issues for a few days after doing so. I guess I'm gonna have to take it apart again
