So, an update. I can get the Katana for 1500 bucks off list. Salesman don't always tell the truth. Not an awful deal. The Xmax they won't be reasonable on. We shall see what develops. Probably because they've to much floorplan in a 2019.

Large capacity scooters are very expensive compared to motorcycles. I'm guessing that there is a lot less profit and wriggle room on those.
Still not a bad price on the katana.
