Help! 1973 Yamaha V50

Help! I have a 1973 Yamaha V50. Was running very rich when I first bought the scooter. It’s since sat and now won’t start back up. It’s getting good spark, compression seems good and I’ve cleaned the carb. That being said I’m very inexperienced when it comes to carburetors and adjustments, I made sure to clean out the primary and secondary jets but I’m still unsuccessful.

Any advise or ideas are welcome. Thank you!

It's always a good idea to try a new plug. 😁
Unless we have a bit more information, it's hard to help. Is it getting fuel? Spark? Compression? Turning over?
