I think it looks cool, but it's not very practical with a rigid rear end. I get a back ache after a long ride on my scoot. I also think the guy is too obsessive worrying about who buy/drives it. I mean what does he care? A sale is a sale and se la vie...

As long as they aren't drunk at the time, you wouldn't know anyway. Cash is cash.

I sell a few scooters, and, I dont judge because somebody mighta had a run in or 2 with the law If theyre drunk when tryin to buy..... no test drive for ya The way i look at it, In scooter laws are lax and if a prospective buyer doesnt have a license... I take a deposit b4 they roll, that aint my concern I like cash wanna buy a scoot.... I got a coupl for sale & dont discriminate

Good point unless he or she is wearing a Budweiser tee shirt and he has a bottle opener hanging from his/her belt loop. LOL Smart man Shiftless! I never let anyone test drive any scoot I sell unless they hand me a deposit for the full sale price in cash first or I'll take it up and down the street a couple times at WOT in right front of them if they don't feel comfortable giving me the money first.

well i would have to see your dl before i sell it to you being i drive for a living if there is a chance for something to come back and bite me in the ass i cya i would have a fear that the new owner wouldnt change paper work and would do something stupid and come back and bite me and yes i have had this happen i had to find the slip from a van i had sold 3 years back when i got a letter saying i owed impound and ticket fees and even then it was a fight as i didnt ask to see the guys id (i doubt he even had one and was proably not in the us legit) so from that day forward if there is any paper work that can be traced back to me i need to see a valid dl and ins card for a test drive and sale i also record the dl and ins policy number now on the bill of sale

I always sign and make the person sign an as-is form that shows the vehicle is no longer my responsibility and that the buyer assumes all responsibility. I offer no warranties etc... I've sold quite a few cars, trucks, a boat, and a midbike for myself and family this way with no issues to date.
