Hey my name is Frank. I've been riding for 30+ years and never really worked on any of the engines besides general maintenance. Recently I saw a Baccio DLX 50 for $100 so I snatched it up without even hearing it run. Got it home charged the battery and it fired right up. I plan on using the engine in another off road build. The engine is a 1PE40QMB. What I found was the 150cc long case mounts into the Baccio DLX 50 frame like it was made for the scooter. The output shaft will have to be changed to be compatible with the wheel and the ignition coil relocated but besides those 2 insignificant things the engine is a direct fit. Yeah I know the 2 stroke could be built to put out more power than a stock 150cc but for those that want a 150cc in a 50cc frame with zero welding this is a good solution.

for those that want a 150cc in a 50cc frame Also factor in the "ethically challenged" stress of always having to look over your shoulder for law enforcement, and potentially experiencing the downside of "gaming the system" fraudulent registration . . perhaps while a clueless family member or friend is riding the illegal scooter!

1PE40QMB is listed as a 49cc engine, not a 150cc.
