Roughhouse 50 sport

Doing a quick build on a rough house.

Malossi sport 70cc
Multivar variator
Malossi Flip exhaust
19mm dellortto carb with malossi air intake
Stock clutch and bell
Belt malossi 6118140 which is listed as 16x8x751
10-1 gear setup.

My carb setup is 42 pilot and 92 main.
Clutch setup is red springs, white centra
Variator set to 33 grams.

What I’m facing now is the belt still has a little more room on the rear pulley as well as the front pulley. I can obviously shim but will only fix one side. I can’t find a slightly larger belt unless I’m doing something wrong with the cvt setup. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Currently clocking at 57gps @ 175lb rider at sea level

What gears did you get for the roughouse fit with a part number and where you got them that get you to 10 to 1 ?

So many guys have asked about roughhouse gears .
But know one has sourced any till you.

How much in mm of travel left do you have on the front and back for space ?

I believe you got the wrong belt. The a belt size is suppose to be 738-18-30 I had the same problem when I built my RH50. I shredded two belts and then the third had a lot of room on both sides. Try to find that size belt. Also how did you get it down to a 10.1 Ratio. I been looking for gears for a long time.

3-4mm front and back for spacing left. Someone said I got the wrong belt but the belt listed was even shorter. Shorter belt would mean less travel. It matched the belt that came out of the bike

Your stock belt should be the correct size for your setup with the multivar if the rear torque pulley is original as stated and you only have the multivar stock belt you get you real good travel.

guti did you swap on new throttle cables and choke and goto premix with the 19 mm dellorto
