the scooter sat up for about a month, without the carb or fuel drained and now it won't crank, I can try it for a bit and nothing but if I come back to it in an hour or so it'll crank for a about a full second then die but if I try it anymore it won't even do that, I've tried manually choking it, kickstarting it, and draining the carb, I've even drained the fuel filter. If anybody could help itd be greatly appreciated.

Try rotating up the carb front vent hose and spraying in some brake cleaner or starting fluid. If no joy, check valve clearance.

No go on either, the starter fluid in the vent seemed to help some, it seemed like it was trying a little harder but still nothing

These types of queries are sooo puzzling! If the engine has fuel, spark, and compression . . should fire off? Almost always turns out that one of those elements is deficient? Any backstory . . was it running fine previously . . any modifications?

No modifications, has clean fuel, and has spark, trust me I'm about as frustrated as it gets lol, like I said if I leave it alone for an hour+ it'll crank for a second, but anything before waiting over an hour for a second try yields nothing.

If the sparkplug reads wet . . could potentially be an excessive fuel issue?

Try putting your hand on the spark plug wire while cranking it over touch the insulator wire from the top of coil box down to plug cap see if you feel a little shock if so that would be your issue. Those orange "high performance" plugs are notorious for having bad insulators that will cause it not to start.Send us a video.

I thought a coleman was a 4T has it magically lost the valves and been converted to a 2T?

I didn't know coleman made a scooter. I only heard they have mini bikes for camping or around the yard.
