Oh boy i feel sorry for the fool who bought one and installed it with arrow pointing at exhaust! If we had it in our clearance section, it's because we knew that the arrow was pointing the wrong way, and would have listed it as such. I just think I would have remembered that one, and I don't, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Matt

I suppose it could have been a different store. And yes it was labeled as an error on the site and priced accordingly.
Regardless, I'm just saying erroneous pistons have been made and sold, further complicating installation issues.

Common sense with a 2stroke mechanic is the piston ring locating pins are AWAY from the exhaust port and if the piston has windows in the skirt, they are AWAY from the exhaust port..Simple as dirt, eat some and spit it out...

I think partsforscooters sells discounted pistons with arrows pointing the wrong way. I've only seen that once on their site, and it was advertised as being defective and printed upside down.

Had some time to look into this more. I think the symbol on the cylinder head is actually the logo for Sanyco, which must be the manufacturer of the E-ton scooters. So either they put some 70cc kits on these beamers or someone bored it out.
I think it's just a bad starter clutch now and it will hopefully be running once the new part arrives.

Sanyco was the same name on my stock beamer engine .

I got the starter clutch but i don't think that was it.
The spacer washer between the starter clutch and the engine was bent, which i think created enough force to keep the clutch on all the time. So hopefully this $5 (with shipping) part will finish it.
It's running and idling fine I can just tell something's off.
