Oh and while I was rebuilding the thing I found the culprit that destroyed my piston indeed was the missing screw from my Reed setup It was stuck in the lubrication passages A square hole on each side of the bottom of the transfer ports which I assume is for list for the bearings Just like in minarelli except these are Bigger and horizontally Laid out instead of vertically of vertically in square instead of round it's a round but the same idea I guess.

So what was the cause of the no spark in the end?

Could have been just the plug damaged by the loose Is renegade screw or or in the end I believe it was my pick up maybe being not quite close enough. Honestly though I don't know for sure I'm just glad to have it back!

808ministroke what kind of front wheel is that? your brake rotor looks like one for a "DIO".

808ministroke what kind of front wheel is that? your brake rotor looks like one for a "DIO". Home? Unsure of the exact source of the wheel I have a feeling that it was was a Very nice very nice quality moped The wheel I got from a buddyou've got from a buddy along with the new front suspension Benjamin which surprisingly fit the frame perfectly I had to hack a few inches off the bottom of the handlebars to get it too get it to mount onto the stem but other than that it was a good Fit also besides being More stable Also has a bigger axle running through the wheela little lighter 2...

So bike has been running in all but but not so good II was just happy to have it starting arting and working before I spent my efforts on the body and pais the body in paneling work. Now that that's pretty much done All I am doing really is waiting for the pipe to come, Maybe AMVT in the future oh and plus the cosmetic stuff will never end neither the tuning.... So yeah it's never done but it's ridable anyways It's been writing real shit lately I know that it's not the bore because compression is honestly probably higher than it's ever been or = But besides starting up 1st kickIs it seems real rich or laggy at the beginningOr part throttle at wide open it is incredibly utterly rich or there's a super weak sparkHis last possibility was that the head gasket was blown as it acted this way when that was the issue before so today I inspected and and the head gasket was fine define but the mark on the cylinder from yesterday from the gasket seemed as though the gasket had come out of its groove move so I added gasket dressing so it would stick in there I usually put Honda bond but but that gasket dressing seems like the perfect stuff it's like thread locker but stick here in thinner. Anyways so now after getting that taken care of that rules out a blown head gasket head gasket and yes it is running better it is running better but still seems like it's utterly rich is Lily rich especially wide open wide open whichIt's odd because I was running the same main jet before I did change the needle to a or to a thinner shorter one and on a richer clip last night just to make sure that it wasn't lean in fact and not rich rich I I'm going to change the main jet maybe yet and probably the needle as well and see if that doesn't clear things upI really think it's rich by how it goes by how it willDo better downhill and it also gets really loud when it's warmAny comments questions or suggestions I'd love to hear from you famAny criticisms or generalNegativity can get off this build thread I'd I don't know why I'm adding that because you wouldn't even be on this forum and reading this far if you weren't already already the kindred brother.

What weight rollers are you running in the variator right now?
**what contra spring too?

weights are 5.5 and 6.2 mixed, I went lighter but this pipe won't make much power at those rpms, can't wait for the s6 r1400 to get here... contra spring is the white mallosi. when pipe comes in I will deff be going lighter on rollers and have been wondering if I need to also go stiffer on contra when I do this? it seems like front and rear would be not in sync otherwise right? also have medium green springs on clutch and already have the reds I would changed em already but can't find a 34 mm socket found a 32 and a 36 but no 34 anywhere so far. these stock Piaggio CVTS KICK ASS!

I just used the adjustable spanner trick to undo my Piaggio clutch. You are right the Piaggio standard CVT is in a different league to the Yamaha setup.

I know this trick well and I've used it successfully on my mineral a clutches now I have a socket for that not anyways it but the nut on the piazzio clutches or a police assembly is so thit's so thin it would be it would be very very hard to grab it with even vice grps.... Real bomber because I bought the Maloshi torsion controller And wanted to install it to see if it made a difference besides changing the Springs...😾👨🔧🤪

so I have changed the main jet from a 134 down to a 128 and is riding waaay better. I also changed the needle again but the mid range is equal or worse . I didn't touch the pilot jet but I did turn mixture screw way out so many turns that I can tell I need to go smaller there Atwell.
Weird thing is it ran great before I rebuilt it on those larger jethose larger jets the thing that I am thinking changed the dynamic is the reed set up, went from a stage 6 two pedal with more flow plus a stuffer to a stock 4 pedal setup. Maybe the fact that it gets less flow through the engine makes it Need less fuel because it's getting less air so to speak, I will probably end up putting the other set up back in even though it almost destroyed my engine and destroyed my piston I'm gonna thread lock the shit out of those little screws I wanna go and just get AV force set But I have other upgrades I want to perform 1st. So I'll probably just try to salvage the salvage the stage 6 reads.

OK I found out why my bike was running so shitty! I noticed yesterday that it it would get worse And worse the higher the RPM and It started to backfire, It reminded me of the time on my other bike that that the Woodruff key got got basically basically filed down from force over timeAnd it would always start but but as soon as it started to gain any spins it would backfire and just run shitty and terrible, Well I connected the 2 dots and realized that the backfiring could have been coming from that same thing happening on this bike So I took off the Magneto the Magneto and lo and behold the key was into pieces luckily I had another key which is advanced By being notched TPR makes them Anyways put the new one on and my bike was an animal once again I mean I forgot how fast it was plus plus the jetting that I lowered in sizes was closer to what it needed to be anyways so the thing rips like never before I am so excited about this bike and its future possibilities...

You could try a heavier weight oil. But it sounds like your going to need more than that. The other option is to fit a spacer on top of the springs. Increasing the compression. That bolt at the bottom, will be to hold the damper rod.
