I bought a spark plug at an auto part store to do a tune up. threw away old plug, put in new one. some friends helped me with carb. they noticed that the plug is not all the way in. after cleaning carb the vino runs great but it has to be the wrong plug. looking at auto part stores online inventory there are so many options, i just want the right plug, what do i do???

On the left in the manuals section you can download a manual for your scooter. In the manual it says to use a CR7E NGK plug with a gap of 0.7-0.8.

Yes, did see that. went auto part store and the one they me is to long. it works but doesnt go to washer. the guy that helped me with carb pulled on from his zuma and the plug was had a shorter threaded area. maybe they sold me the wrong thing?

i stopped at a different auto part store today and bought a different plug, it was an actual ngk cr7e. was very careful not to cross thread, it went all the way in. i am such a mechanical hack. great site though.
