I came back from a ride on T2 to see a sportbike on the side of the road, maybe a tenth of a mile from my driveway. He was on his phone, so I pulled in and watched for a minute in case he was just pulled over making a call. I saw him hang up and start to look the bike over, so I walked out and asked if I could help. He said his regulator went up and he's just waiting on someone to come give him a jump. I told him I could grab something and jump it real quick and he said OK. I got the Altima and went back over. Separated the leads and handed him 2. I hooked the car up and he hooked his bike up. The battery still seemed nearly dead when he tried at first. Then he moved something. The car's idle changed and this time it worked. He said thanks and roared off by the time I was getting the hood closed. I went back and parked the car. Got out and hit the key fob to lock the doors. Nothing. Damn fob must need a new battery. Opened the door and hit the lock button. Nothing. Put the key in and turned it to run. Nothing. Crap. I couldn't really see what he was doing because I was holding the cables on my end to be sure they didn't move. I'm now wondering if they were backwards at first. I guess I needed more stuff to work on anyway. Hopefully it'll be a fuse or ground or something simple.

Hope it's just a fuse or something. You have enough things to fix. 😞

Turned out to be super simple. I popped the hood and the ground terminal was totally off. Won't tighten enough to be secure. I cut a piece of copper to act as a shim and all is well.

I wish all fixes were that easy. 😁
