Hi all, I am in the market for a new brain bucket. The old one just isn't gonna cut it anymore. Really like the Bell Qualifier. My brother has one. Pretty sturdy and fairly inexpensive. I am usually broke. Lol. Anyway I came across Vivid Racing. They seem to have low prices and a wide range of styles for that model, more so than most other retailers that I've seen, and the price is really good. Have done the research online and they seem legit. Just curious if anyone here has had any experience with them before I place an order. Here's a link to the helmet: www.vividracing.com/Bell-Racing-Qualifier-Helmet-p-153153508.htmlIf nobody has any info on them, I'll probably order and will be sure to post my experience.

About a year ago. Both eBay and Amazon were flooded with fakes. It was quite easy to tell they were not the real deal, by the build quality. Buying from a reputable dealer as this looks like, should be ok. The most important thing with a helmet is it fits correctly.

My initial worry was that they seemed to have a large supply of designs that had been discontinued. Always a little leery of new vendors, but ya gotta take a chance sometime, right? Thanks for the advice. I didn't know about the knockoffs. I can see why people do that stuff with clothes and hand bags, but safety equipment? That's low, man.

There should be a label with date of manufacture on the strap. As long As it has been stored correctly, and out of UV light. They don't really start to age till worn. So buying last season's design could save a few quid.

Try Revzilla if you like the helmet but are Leary of the company. It's hard as hell to find anything in stock anywhere, I've bin looking myself as my helmet is going on 7 years next summer and it's time to replace.

Things are always sold out. That's why I'm always trying to find new suppliers. I like Revzilla too. I shop there and Partzilla as well. They sometimes have really good deals.
