Tonight I added a bit of precaution to my scooter. I added emergency contact phone numbers and my name to the inside of my brain bucket. I wrote my GF’s number and my brother’s number. I then stuck them inside a plastic bag up under the webbing in the top of my helmet. Tomorrow I’ll add a small label to the underneath of the rear of the helmet saying I.D. inside. I hope nobody ever has to find it.

Hmmmmm, I should do the same with a note donating my body to science if it hasn't been cremated in the crash.

i've got a bit of cpr training , this is not a good place for that note:if you are not awake doctors are not going to remove your helmet before x rays because removing it if you have a broken skull may kill you

i've got a bit of cpr training , this is not a good place for that note:if you are not awake doctors are not going to remove your helmet before x rays because removing it if you have a broken skull may kill you My primary concern was if I was separated from the bike or the bike was all mangled up that inside my helmet would hopefully remain with my body. After x-rays they’d eventually get it off. Certainly prior to the funeral. I probably could put a duplicate of it inside my wallet but there are many other papers in there.

I like that. It’s better than my idea. I’ll look into getting that. Might even get one for my hard hat at work too.

I've never seen those ICE tags either. Very cool idea. Should be standard equipment on motorcycle helmets. I was looking to see if they had them on amazon and found these too. Stickers with a QR code to scan for access to your info and ability to add more medical info if you need to share a lot of vital info. amzn.to/35BqJLk

I like those scannable stickers also but I think I’d opt for the ICE tag first. Doesn’t require any smart phone device to retrieve the info. That’s the only downside I can see to the QR code version. Other than that I like it.
