So i ended up putting a 26mm Oko Pumper carb on it, it is really snappy. I would like a quick throttle however.  It rides pretty well, i am still way too tall and large for it. Easy 55 without revving out yet. I gotta get some lighter on it to rush down the main road. It doesnt launch as hard as I want it, even with the red springs in it. Looking at the belt I think i could do with a longer belt. Or even shorter final transmission. The extended swingarm really puts all the launch forward and nothing upwards, which i like. Albeit at the cost of wheelie potential.   Speaking of, I swapped the axles so i now have the short axle. Still would like a little bit of a wider tire on it/wider rim. I will look for a 2.50" wide rim in the rear, IF the splines are the same between QMB and GY6 150.  The front end is really... something else. I will stiff it up with some thicker oil and maybe some actual springs. The rear brakes are GARBAGE, holy crap... something's gotta happen there. So are the front ones, I am not sure what to so right now, i will come up with something however. |
