Need help with sb50p

Hello I’m new to this forum and was wondering if you could help me figure out what this line is for on my sb50p carburetor. it won’t run and I rebuilt the carb and cleaned gas tank and fuel gets to the carb and the engine has spark. The problem is that no gas is getting to the engine so I don’t know if this line to the back of the carb is the problem. I can’t figure out how to attach a picture so if you could tell me how so I can show you guys the problem that would be great thank you.

Yep we like pictures,I take a photo and then upload it to 'my drive' then I can transfer them to the forum like a teenager,sometimes I have to wait until I have a strong wi fi signal.

The more information we have, the better to help you. Is it a Honda Elite? Did it run before? Why did you rebuild the carb?
