So here recently I've been researching 49cc to 150cc swaps. Seen videos, read builds, and so on and so forth. I'm wanting to use my 2020 taotao powermax 150 drive train on my 2008 vitacci solana 49cc frame since I have title and key to 49cc, 150 is stolen recovery. I'm debating on which route to take at this point. Trevor pritchett of YouTube's mopboys says chop up stock 49cc motor mount. But I'm thinking a different route since I have a 2020 icebear Malibu frame.the Malibu was a pickup from stl city towing, was a hit and run scoot. Frames basically got a 45 degree bend in frame, broke cast aluminum trans mount and left shock mount. Considering chopping rear section of frame off and fabbing the frame side of engine mount off to weld into vitaccis frame instead of fabricating 49cc mount to fit 150cc engine. Is this feasible? Touch work? What do you guys think? Any and all input is greatly appreciated.

Anything is possible with enough fabrication. What is your welding like? For something that's going to do 50MPH plus, it better be good. Even a few degrees out will make it unusable. How do you plan to fix the engine mounts that are broken?

The inherent difficulties is why so few try and even fewer succeed.

My Aerox have a bit of the frame from the doner bike welded to it to fit the Piaggio engine .
