Thanksgiving will be a giant superspreader event. A lot of people won't be here for Christmas. Get togethers in a pandemic are a lot like going to war, we never think it is going to be us that gets shot or killed, we always think it is going to be the other guy...
Some people in my immediate family are having a Zoom meeting. Not me, I don't have any video capability.
Trust me, I'm with you. I feel bad telling people that I had a friend over, but I'll just say no good friend wouldn't if you knew the story. This is coming from a person that since late March has been into stores a total of 2 times and that was when it was supposed to be calm, with mask, social distancing etc... Probably the most dangerous thing I've done was ride with Ryan from the forum at the car show, again when COVID was more calm where he and most people were dining out and carrying on nearly as usual by then. I actually just went to an automatic car wash the other day and some attendant tried to come over as if I need help putting a credit card in. I wasn't having it. Left skid marks out of there. No means no! Get back! lol
You really wanna hear one that disturbs any bike owner... I let my friend ride the TMAX today. He hasn't been on a bike since he sold his prob 6 years ago. Rode it about 15 miles and said it's the clearest his head has been in a long time. Full story though; when he had a sport bike and a cruiser he made it clear that any time I wanted to take one out it was cool and I used his 150 for an entire month long ago when my first scoot was down in the summer. It figures that T2 is down now. Otherwise I would have made him race me so I could smoke the TMAX with the poor little 49cc.
