Seems like you are working too fast and not taking proper care which can be both expensive and dangerous.
Cage drivers are impervious to scoot damage so they don't give a shite.

I need to rig up a proper stand so I can pull the entire engine or at least the rear wheel without fearing capsizing my own scooter.

I need to rig up a proper stand so I can pull the entire engine or at least the rear wheel without fearing capsizing my own scooter. I use a power-pull from a 4' 4x4" laid across my garage 2x6 on 16" ceiling joists. I cut a hole in the sheetrock and passed the 4x4 then insulated it with foam and sealed it up with a sheetrock and plywood patch. The overhead 'pick-point' will support either end of a scoot. You can use two anchors in the 4x4 for front&back. Maybe use a longer 4x4.
Batting cage anchors can be used to bolt through the ceiling and 4x4. Various lengths are available if you search.

Certainly expensive got to pick up a new tyre today. Mostly don't go well when I rush into things FrankenMech. Oh well it's nearly 08.00am raining like mad but got the recycling out and food waste plus stuff from my shed to go with recycling. Well nothing else for it but back to bed and ponder the day. π

Sounds like a good plan It is 3AM here so I must take my late midnight pills (was off schedule today due to having to pick up a new supply) and take my night insulin, then hit the sack. Taking diabetic meds at night makes me wonder if I will wake up again but I follow doctor's orders. If I don't show up some day it is most likely due to meds killing me. Either that or the loneliness of 11 years in isolation will get me too far down. People are going nuts after 6 months or a year... I am way beyond that.
I am central time in the US and I think I am 5-6 hours behind you. I will be at least comatose at 8 AM. My trash/etc went out at 7AM Wednesday. We got a tiny bit of rain but mostly dry. Forecast was for a storm but nothing as usual.

Well today went well, I did a 40mile round spin out in the car to the motorcycle shop looked at a lifan 110cc badged as a peugeot vox which could be mine before Xmas. Yes I know i said no more Peugeot things but it's not so there π So got my mirror mount for the cut down put that on and the tyre didn't explode off the rim today so that can go on tomorrow if I up for it.

By that reasoning, the V click wasn't a Peugeot either! π

They are only about 7 1/2 bhp. Do you think that would be enough for the hills?
