 jay998 So I had heard of Cumbria so I googled it and its in North Western England. Isle of Man is just off it's coast. Yo may have seen it because the Lakes District are where a number of films have been shot. One of my favorite childhood books The Swallows and the Amazons used a lake there as its setting. It looks like a lovely place and it probably has some great scooter riding when the weather agrees.

Thanks for the welcome guys. There are a lot of nice twisty roads near me, Hartside pass is one i ride a lot but i've not taken a scooter over it yet and plan on sorting that when the project is on the road.
