Got this Peugeot ludix snake that I have been working on just recently changed the piston rings because the old one were bad then put the carburetor and tried starting the scooter but it wouldn't start so I take off the carburetor nd tried starting it again which it started without the carb if anyone knows what could be causing this.thanks

That is really unusual, most engines need a carb to get fuel so I'm not sure how your's is running with no carb. Perhaps it's the air box or filter that you have taken off. We would all love a picture so we can see what you removed. This link will show you how to post pictures: 49ccscoot.proboards.com/post/7984

So not being familiar with this model I asked Mr. Google and found this video. They are cute little scooters that are a bit different. The video is very funny because these guys have never seen a scooter engine before and the things we take for granted they are scratching their heads about. They do show removing the air box and carburatuer though they have no idea what all of the connections are for.
Here is part 2 where they some how manage to get it running.

Welcome to the forum. They are great little scooters if you get it going. Peugeot even claimed it was the fastest accelerating scooter you could buy.

Pinkscoot, those learners are only 20miles away from me I might get a bargain.
Dreamchaser, how are you doing?it,s a basic 2t engine so we can talk you through a fix, first up clean the carb inside and out and reassemble put the air filter on before you try to start it.use the directory button on the left of this screen to get straight to any component.do you have easy start aerosols in your spares shop??
