i have a tng ls 49, its similar to a keeway i think. i would like to check the frame integrity and weld for cracks before next years season. i dont know where to start on all the plastic. i imagine there is an order of removal on all of it. also my speedo is off about 5 mpg. anyway to adjust, replace with better unit or learn to live with it. thanx in advance.

For the speedo, there isn't a way to calibrate most of them. The best thing is to replace it IMO. I like the digital bike speedos by Sigma that you can get cheap online usually. Those can be calibrated and are very accurate if setup properly.
I'm not sure on the panels for your scoot. The best advice I can give you is to look it over and if something doesn't wanna come loose, take a closer look. Lots of this stuff is sort of intertwined. Most of the sport styled scoots I've messed with you can start with removing the seat and bucket. The retro stuff you tend to need to remove a bunch of other panels to get to it. If you look it over careful enough you can usually tell how panels are "layered" on.

On those start with the seat and luggage rack from there you can get the black from under the front of the seat and the rest of the back section should be fairly easy as for the front it's all pretty self explanatory just make sure you get the bolts from inside the front storage above the headlight f yours has that. the storage is the bottom left pic on the link I posted. www.tngscooters.com/Showroom/LS+49/

cool, i didnt want to just go and start removing panels and break off some tab that holds the whole thing together. i'll start with the seat and bucket and go from there. i ride on some pretty bumpy roads and i dont need a cracked weld breakin at 40 mph! i was thinkin bout the bike odo's. i'll look into them. thanx guys, its nice to have a place to get answers from.
