Ive been wanting to pull another GY6 move, and maybe my Kymco Super 8 could use some boosting. This would either be full bolt ons (performance head, cam, 26mm cv carb, intake, pipe, cvt) or that stuff with a 155 bbk like i did on my old taotao. Now, i was looking into kits, but they say "not for K blocks". Ive looked around, and most people call the 2 bolt 57mm stud spaced engines K blocks. The kymco appears to be a normal 4 bolt GY6 150 from my valve adjustment. I looked on the bottom of the case for the typical "157qmj", but i found nothing. The case, at least in that area, is different and has no engine code. Should i be safe to assume this is just a normal A block gy6 and buy the kit, or should i look for kymco specific parts?
