I rebuilt the very first animation stand used by Walt Disney years ago. It had some major mechanical problems and a number of electrical ones also. Some of the electrical systems were kind of cobbled together and I just got them working. The light brightness controls used constant voltage transformers and then variacs to feed the lights, really nasty for any type of color temperature control. My BIL used it to produce advertising. He has a whole collection of film editing equipment.

He has a whole collection of film editing equipment. Nice! I did a ton of work for Disney in the 90s. Used to love to go and look at the Multiplane in the lobby of one of the buildings. That thing was cool. This was back when the pond for The Waltons was still there.
