Hello guys, I was wondering what the general reliability of the 1E52QMG / 1E52QMF. I was wondering if anyone would happen to have one, as I really want to get my hands on a long case! I have plans (muhahaha) anyways. if anyone has one please let me know! Im looking for 2. also If I cannot find one, I will consider boring a 1e40qmb. if I do this, what is the reliability of a bored out 1e40? Thanks guys! Any information is really helpful, I want to be knowledgeable on these engines

I had a 1E52QMG (stock 90cc) and I've had many 1E40QMB cut cases. The 1E40QMB does alright at 103cc (54mm bore, 45mm stroke). They've got more meat around the crank than the Yamaha and Aprilia 49ccs do. They don't tend to be very high revving engines, but they make good power for a cruiser and can be good street builds.

The 90cc cases have bigger crank wheel, cylinder barrel, transfer duct dimensions, but the 1E40 cases have enough meat to hog out so all is the same..Let the chips fly!!

Im picking up a pgo 110cc motor, which is basically a rattler 110cc motor I guess. Is that the same as a 1e52qmg? 52x50mm bore/stroke says the internet. I wanna build me a big one too.

Also I have a chinese long are 49cc motor I'll let go. I think it's the one that doesn't need to be cut but I'm not sure. It's complete with rear wheel and vario cover.

The PGO sounds more like a BWS100 motor(52X48),cylinder choices are bland as the transfer ducting is even worse than the smaller Mina's,always thought of grafting an MX jug onto that longer stroke crank though..The BWS100 has a 90mm rod and a 13mm piston pin..

If it's not gonna be a screamer then I dont really want it.
