I have an idea but need some input to see if it might work or find out what maybe wrong in it. Ok from the stator the yellow AC wire going directly to the headlights I see a need to change for better lighting so what if you divert the yellow wire to a extra new voltage rectifier the same as the other that already exist on bike and then onto a new dc led car headlight you install so then it looks like you would take less from stator and maybe give more for your existing rectifier to convert it to the dc for charging of your battery would this not work better? I'm not sure of why it may not or would it?

The existing yellow wire is 14VDC with a big ripple waveform when it has been connected to the existing regulator. Just connect your LED headlamp to the headlight circuit as usual.

Thank You Welcome to the forum. If you click the tab link on the left, marked manuals. There is a downloadable Tao Tao owners manual. There should be a wiring schematic.
