I have the exact same problem as heard in the video, nothing seems to help the cutting out at approx. 11000rpm when riding. I have a malossi cdi and have replaced all other electricals, stator etc. also sealed case well and checked for leaks. Also tested max revs with cvt not connected and it revved nicely. Still Nothing seems to help. (My engine is minarelli horizontal ac) On top of all the fuzz, i have tried many different rollers, variator pressure springs, 2 different clutches and front variator plates. Im pretty dumbfounded with this ghost problem. Did you ever figure out your issue? I am dealing with something similar. forgot to update on the problem, but after long problem solving and replacing tens of parts, the stuttering went away after i replaced absolutely every electrical part (made a diy wire loom with premium connctors and 1.5mm wire (original was 1.0) although I didnt figure out solely the problem causer in my wiring loom, the oem ignition lock (aprilia rally) seemed to somehow take ground at high rpm at the cdi connector. The ignition lock taking ground, explains why the stutter went away when flicking the ingnition key fast when reaching the stutter point, while WOT. I would recommend checking all connections and especially the ignition lock ground points. Forgot to mention but In the process, also made extra grounding points for the ignition coil and stator so if i were you those two would be the first checking points along with the ignition ground.

Appreciate the reply and glad you got it fixed! For me, the issue ended up being a weaker stock ignition but gapping the spark plug tighter fixed it for me.
