I picked up a 2013 Yamaha Vino 50 CC from a coworker I ride motorcycles so this is my first time with a scooter picked it up for the wife. I do have a couple questions to why it wont start. it hasn't run since 2016.


I replaced the battery and spark plugs.

I have spark and fuel pump works. 

I was finally able to start it with starter fluid by it did soon after do to not getting fuel.  What would cause this. before I used started fluid in the spark plug hole the spark plug was dry.

Did you clean the carb and get the junk out of the jets? Is the fuel Petcock working? if you look on the left side of the screen at the floating menu there are lots of links to very good information. Here is an example: 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/647?page=1.

Dano, welcome to the forum there,s no limit to how many times you ask for help but maybe start a thread in the 2t trouble shooting section,a carb clean never hurts it only takes one of the many fuel,air ways to get blocked to upset these engines.
