I have a malaguti f18 and that’s a fun bike. Did a bit on that too. Even rarer I think

That's come out really well.I never used to like white bikes. But certain bikes, look awesome in white.
My slider was going to be metallic green. But once I painted the white under coat on, it looked so good it had to be white.

Did some more work on the plastics fitting everything and cleaning up the seat bucket. Coming out good! The handlebar setup along with more engine parts will be here Monday. full cvt setup, carb, s6 switches and quick throttle along with master cylinder. 

one thing I don’t have yet is the water over flow tank. I ordered the one of only a few I could find in Italy but who knows when it will be here. I might end up finding a short cap to use in the mean time. If anyone has a malaguti f12 water tank let me know!

Project “wife” is taking another turn. I remember saying the black vino was going to be for my wife and I turned it into a race setup. So then I got this bike and said yea it’s going to be for the wife. Simple setup. Well I asked her a question “do you like the color black?” Haha

I’m dumbing down the vino and transferring all the parts over to this white gutti. I figured with all the power the other bike has, it was getting too much in a way for the little 10 inch tires and frame. The gutti is a way better base and platform for the race setup.

This bike engine wise will be getting:

did some rough case work before splitting the engine to get the new crank ready. The old s6 street race kit along with the malaguti ignition and coil is now back in the Yamaha vino. 

I have to do some work to the cvt case for the over range to fit but not bad. New parts tomorrow and should be sealed up and ready to install on the bike this weekend!

That's going to be a very nice set-up. Very similar to how I went with the aerox. I
Will make a fun bike round country roads.

time for a crank! I flowed through cases a little, matched the ports to the Athena that’s going in it, and did some minor “trenching”. I’m not too familiar with the cases so I didn’t want to go too deep and end up in my studs or on the other side. I don’t want to in weld tonight 😂

I don’t have a lot of tips for the dremel but I think it came out good for another shed build. 




The boost ports i rounded and any walls or sharp corners I rounded as well.

Some freezer bearings later and heat they are both in, crank installed, case halves sealed, and top end going on.

engine mounted! Mvt dialed in to .35mm btdc, s6 intake installed with 21mm phbg carb running 40 pilot and 98 main with w7 needle for a base. MHR over range with case work to accept the larger pully and my Exhaust comes Monday. Just have to get the cdi wired in the bike and the polini gauge switched over!

The stock 3ah battery wasn’t cutting it on the other bike. I found a 12v 10ah battery that fits nicely in the stock location with very little trimming of the inside plastics. With the pump running and nothing else running, the battery was maintaining 12.47v and only dropped .01v in 5-7 min. NOT BAD! the mvt sucks at charging but I think with this battery it won’t have to work hard to maintain it and I will be able to ride longer and not worry about it dropping below 10v in the time I ride. I’m thinking of putting a switch for the main headlights and swapping those out to led eventually.
