So ive been wanting to get a new carb for my scoot for a while now, up untill now ive been running a knock off pwk 24mm w a pod filter and it runs well but i believe there is alot more power/ efficiency to be had with the correct carburetor setup. Also ive heard from a few places that the fake pwk’s dont come with the correct emulsion tube for a 2 stroke bike, and beside that are a pain to tune correctly(have heard a few ppl say that adding venturi dividers helped with the tunability issue tho). Anyways im running an LC polini corsa, yasuni c16, malossi vl14 reeds, top performance 35mm 360* intake, malossi overrange, polini clutch w/ red contra and clutch springs, stage 6 up gears(11-1 ratio). Also running a coolant temp sensor and cylinder head temp sensor just to be safe. So ive heard excelent things about the polini cp, and the polini cp evo carburetors, only problem is i would have to get a new manifold to make it work because the cp’s have a smaller inlet size than the pwks. However if the cp is hands down better i wouldnt mind buying a new intake. So my other thought was maybe a polini pwk? Havent heard much about these tho so im wondering how the quality would be compared to a mikuni or keihin carb? I do already have a wide range of both round and hex pwk main jets and a set of pwk pilots.(polini cp uses the pwk main jets). So my question is what carburetors do yall think would be best?

Id go with a Dellorto, but thats because I know those best and have good experiences with em. The phbg range is a nice product for builds from roughly 5 to 15hp. The largest phbg is 21mm which also come in a racing version for easier jet and needle changing. Id say a 21mm is a perfect size for your setup, unless you live in Hawaii. Then you have to go 28mm or bigger.

I think it's about 25mm for the intake.
