Hi everyone,
Beginner newb admittingly but I cant seem to put it aside so.... here I am.
I'm wondering what the first 5 performance mods I should make so the scoot goes faster n quicker. its a 2018 Zuma four stroke water cooled slug....it just a little too slow for my needs and way to slow for my desires. Trying to find a middle ground to safely ride on.
I've been looking into 44mm big bore kits and was ready to buy and then I saw that there is a 47mm kit and now I wonder which to get. Polini seems to be the best at this stuff so id like to go with them. What else should I do to it? especially would like to do a few mods at once here since ill have most of the bike apart to put the cylinder on. seems like final gears are popular. Mods to variators or completely switching the out too is also popular. I see air filter mods I see exhaust mods.....all these mods and i am beginning to understand what they do and their potential to aid performance. Will I need break upgrades? Do i need a tuner? what does the tuner do exactly? varies the injection rate. Should i try using various sizes of jets? help me break all this down to the top 5 mods that should come. Ill say the bbk is #1 but which one to get and what will best accompany it best. hers my list... tell me where ive gone wrong and why, just dont castrate me too badly or maybe just take one and leave the other for me. I got thick skin so rip as you please. and thank you to those contribute.....I'm defiantly enjoying riding the scoot and getting the chance to work on it an learn a bit too.
1. 44mm bbk
2. final gear
3. exhaust swap
4. variator mods
5. air filter
