Hi from southeast Florida I'm new here, and with scootering. I'm 53 and haven't been on two wheels for about 30 years. I'm still getting use to it. So yeah, I've been at it for a few weeks. I'm already on my second scooter. I'm still nervous at times. I was riding in 30 mph gusts and I'm still a bit freaked out by it. Anyway, my first scooter was of the Chinese made variety. I actually really liked that scooter. I'm not sure of the order. It's the blue one with my dog Chewbacca on it. Chewie for short. May the 4th be with us. Soon after the shop got a 2001 Vespa ET2. It was garage stored for 20 years. Everything is in almost new condition. Shop went over it, replaced fluids and grease. Starts right up with electric and kick starters. So far I put a little over 100 miles on it. I have new tires coming in tomorrow. Oh, it's even a 2-stroke. Definitely a great scooter, but just want to mention again, my Chinese scooter ran great. I have a new helmet coming soon as well. It was $120.00 and SNELL rated. I think snell is right? I think it's discontinued because I got it on closeout. In fact they only had one helmet in extra large. I have gloves, but they're cheap. So need pants and boots. I still want a front folding rack as well. It's my primary mode of getting around so every little bit of storage is useful.

Welcome to the forum. Nice bikes. But Chewie is nicer. 👍
