The Hyosung SF50 should have a Franco Morini two-stroke engine.

Those are great little scoots, light as a feather and very tunable. Of course with the Morino engine parts are limited. They are very similar to the Suzuki 50cc AD50 engine and most parts are interchangeable. The one thing I learned was that the CDI is proprietary and needs to be a Hyosung CDI. Pictures would be great.

May to September generally, but I await a new knee so am looking for a small scoot to renovate. Ideally a minarelli water cooled 50, but not many made their way over Atlantic. Any suggestions for alternatives would be gratefully received. Bart

This is mostly guess work :)but I would be on the look out for a Yamaha Zuma or Vino around a college town/city you will pay more for the brand but it,s worth it IMO,I have an air cooled Yamaha as my daily drive it,s reliable but I only need 40mph so it,s almost stock.the water cooled version is just a headache if you don't,t need the speed.
