NRG, for the win!   Hmmm...NRG is the only Piaggio that would made you switch from the Zip? I had the chance for that, but the seller wanted my Zip + money, and I didn't like the offer. And after a couple hours, I found my next scooter. I will pick it on Friday, and it's my birthday, so I can't wait to sign the papers an bring it home. |

Here's my new beauty, Piaggio Zip SP Mk1. Honestly I'm out of words about this buy. I was about to buy a NRG, and one friend of mine sent me this scooter to have a check. I closed the deal 10 minutes after that. The previous owner was an elder man who had it just go buy bread or take a coffee near home.  He had no clue about what he had in hands. Full stock, even the decals are 100% brand new! Obviously it's not perfect on fairings but it's pretty much recoverable. Not only that, but everything that actually it needs. Now the price...I don't know how to say this, but I guess it was a bargain! 350€ ($450 or £300)   |

Good purchasing skills. Is the early version water cooled like the later ones? Got a bit lucky on the purchase. Need to replace the tyres and the water pump. (yes, it is LC like the latest ones). But yeah, even considering it, was a really nice purchase! |

Once the seller told me that the water pump wasn't working at all, I just started it to check the compression, but turned it off almost instantly after that. Now I will try to fix his flaws, and then I will think what will be the performance upgrades. But I'm wondering about Alu Mid-Race/Race kits (as it deserves!). |
