Hi, anyone tried moding to naked bars? It looks nice and i place in a new volt meter and tacho/speedo/fuel gauge. However, I'm exposing to much of a hole on the stem area and the wirings which makes me not able to use the scoot on rainy days? Anyone tried a mod to sort of cover this issue? Thanks

Have you had trouble on rainy days, or you're anticipating them?
I have a naked scoot, with the wiring exposed all over the place. I have had running trouble in really wet weather before or even after washing the scoot with a hose. I built my own custom harness from scratch with weatherproof connectors and tried to make sure that I used sealed components.
If it's just the opening at the top of the leg shield and fairing that concerns you, perhaps you could make a small panel to block more of the area. Short of putting everything through grommets and leaving room for the bars to rotate with slack in wiring and hoses, you can't block it all off anyway. I've had a few setups with the handlebar cover removed like yours and they didn't really give me any trouble that I recall, but to be fair I don't ride in pouring rain often at all.

I'm just kinda anticipating it haha i think will do as what you suggest like making a panel to partially blocked that hole on the stem area. It's my daily commuter this loud scoot so sometimes i do get caughtin the rain. Will update photos once i have done it. Thanks admin

I saw this on ali express from china today. I wonder if this fits my minarelli clone. That plastic panel looks perfect to cover the hole haha
