Aprilia SR50 2001 - Before and After

Hey guy...

I new here, i'm from Brasil and bought a Aprilia SR50 2001.

When i first look the scoot i think this is a garbage, but i will risk...

After a long time almost 2 months only working in the nights, after my work i got finally almost ended the scoot, its only miss some parts to change and put the graphics.

I made:

New Paint Job
New original piston and rings.
New crankshaft
New Speedo instruments
New Light lens
All Bearings are new and oil seals

PHBG Dellorto 19mm race Carb
BGM PRO Reed valves and cage
CDI (Scrappydog)
Ingnition Coil
BGM Clutch and Case 107mm
Nakaru Variator and sliders
Leo Vince ZX handmade exhaust
Malossi Contrast Spring
Malossi clutch spring

Next modifications:

Malossi 70cc mhr
New Belt
Graphics
Boost Bottle

I have one problem...


The scoot are overheating... and i dont know what i do...

im use
w9 neddle
95 main jet
and 2/5 turns on the mixture screw.

Dont know what to tell you about the overheating issue other than the basics...Check the thermostat, rad, cap, pump, and anything else you can think of to do with cooling. Does it get hot just sitting or WOT? Both?

You did a GREAT job cleaning up and fixing what looks like years of neglect. :cheers: :thumb:

i getting hot when i came in high rev... the temp go to a red level in instruments.

i take it off the thermostat, we do use this here couse here is hot all day long.
