 Depends how much it needs to run and how well the charging system works. I've got a 4" SPAL fan on my radiator, but I hardly ever need it. It draws quite a bit of power for a scoot's system, but usually it's just for being stuck at a long light or something and then it's back off. If you need to use a fan a lot, you may consider upgrading/upsizing the radiator(s) and making sure the rest of the cooling system is in good condition.
