I got some parts in a trade, a cf moto echarm engine and front end. I was wondering if I can put it on a dirt bike frame or something. Those wheels are big. I can weld a little if needed. I wonder if any scooter frame would fit? I have no clue why I thought it was a good idea to say “sure, I’ll take your random parts”

Engage your imagination.
Check out the parts, do you think they work?
Start sticking them with other parts, get out tape measure, scratch head, draw pictures.
Frames can be modified.

The one think I need is patience
I will find a frame and I will find it cheap, but will I find it soon? No, no I won’t.
I can weld, but am I good? No. Can I get better? Of course. Will I be better right away? No.
It’s all about patience. I’ve never had it and now it’s worse. I think if we all had it the world would be better.
It’s fun to hunt for parts though

I wonder if I can make this work somehow with creative welding and stretching

Maybe put on something like the Sachs Mad frame? Obviously that’s a chain driven bike, but the idea is the same.

A standard 125/150/250cc scoot frame may do OK for a base.

What's the displacement? Not tryin to be a dick but if you're at a rookie level welder I'd go with a situation that didn't rely on questionable weld joints.A quick yahoo! sez it may be a 150cc? As you know you don't want a cracked frame if it's not tough enough to handle the engine torque and not break. That would be unpleasant.

Some work should be left to professionals (like video editing and news reporting. Did I mention I work in the TV business and YouTube is full of amateurs who think they can do my job with their phone?) sorry up too early this morning It’s a 150cc. Anyone in eastern Missouri or central or southern Illinois have a frame they want to be rid of?
